I was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, and grew up in a humble family. My family runs an electrical maintenance services business in India. I started helping there when I was 12. I was young, but I was curious. I wanted to understand how things worked, learn new skills and become a little better every day.
In 2022, I came to Canada at the age of 18. Like many newcomers, I did not start at the top. My first job was part-time at Tim Hortons. For one year, I worked there while also managing another job. I was tired many days, but I kept going because I wanted to build a better future for my family.
After that, I joined Amazon as a warehouse associate. I worked hard there for almost two years. That work helped me move into an RME Maintenance Technician I role supporting an Amazon site. Within four to five months, I advanced to Technician II. In October 2026, I became a Senior Maintenance Technician. Step by step, I built a six-figure maintenance career and reached what I once considered my dream job.
Then I understood something important: a good salary can make life more comfortable, but it does not automatically give you freedom, security or peace. When all your income comes from one job and your time follows someone else’s schedule, your choices can still be limited.
Before I help other families, my first responsibility is my own family. My parents sacrificed a lot to give me opportunities. I know I can never fully repay them, but as their son, I believe it is my duty to make them proud, improve our family’s standard of living and give them the comfort and choices they once gave up for me. I want them to experience the life they dreamed about while they were busy building mine.
That is why I started building in financial services. First, I want to create more security and choice for my own family. As I learn and grow, I also want to help other families understand money, protection and ownership in simple terms. Real change begins when something makes sense to you today—and then you take one step at a time.
Maybe you also came from a humble background. Maybe you moved to a new country, started with a small job, worked long hours or carried the pressure of supporting your family. Maybe you are thankful for your job but still wonder whether there is another way to build your future. I understand that feeling because I have lived it too. You do not need to know everything today. You only need to be willing to learn and take your next step.
I did not start with an easy road, special connections or a big position. I started with work, curiosity and consistency. If I can take the next step, you can too.Start where you are. Learn one thing. Take one step.
